From Manila, we had to go through Cavite, if' I'm not mistaken, or Laguna then to Batangas Pier, to ride a bangka for more than an hour sea travel to Puerto Galera, Mindoro. You will actually feel a bit sick if you're not used to travel by sea.
So, it did rain a little bit that made the waves bigger than usual. But once sun won, it's amusing to see some islands with white sands and all that greens. So refreshing!
Puerto Galera kind of welcomed me with a big splash. Just minutes before we arrived, I was bored, and sleepy, and somewhat slipping in to a dream, when I felt like a huge pail of salty water was thrown at me, and then there I was, already drenched, the Puerto Galera already given me a taste of her beauty (in a lil bit harsh way). I was actually confident and comfortable of not getting that splash. Small splashes were coming from all sides of the boat except mine, so I'm so comfy that I could use a little nap before attacking the beach. Surprise, surprise.
And so these are the views from our accommodation. Such a paradise, isn't it?
And that beautiful creepy mysterious mountain, Mt. Malasimbo.
The food is okay. The only food that made me crave for more is that Buttered Chicken of VM Beach Resort. But we are not able to go around that much for food tasting,
Night life was great too but we tried to sleep early so we can swim without getting tan in the morning. Haha
Puerto Galera, Mindoro. It's just one of Philippine paradises but I would totally go back. esp for that mountain, Mt. Malasimbo.
